VARIABLE VALVE TIMING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A variable timing device is provided to be designed without limit as a shape of a first chamber or plunger is variable. CONSTITUTION: A variable timing device comprises an upper plunger, a lower plunger, a flow path and a valve. The upper plunger is placed in a first chamber formed in the upper part of an actuator housing. The lower plunger is placed at the lower part of the upper plunger, and interlocks with a swing arm (3) attached to the upper part of a cam shaft. The flow path is connected to the actuator housing to recover and supply oil to the first chamber. The valve is installed in the flow path, and restricts the supply of oil to the flow path based on the on-off state of valve timing.
