PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a doctor device for a conductor roll having a longer life compared to before and also capable of easy maintenance.SOLUTION: The doctor device 1 employs a blade holder 3 of simple structure which simply holds the rear end of a doctor blade 2 on both ends in the through-thickness direction, instead of using an air tube-type blade holder including a bearing portion. A sealing structure is employed, in which a pair of Z seals 14a-15b are arranged on both sides of bearing parts 7 respectively so that vapor of a plating solution or the like is not penetrated into the bearing parts 7 of a doctor back 4 supporting the blade holder 3, and air for sealing having a pressure slightly higher than atmospheric pressure is delivered between these seals. As a turning mechanism 10 and a sliding mechanism 11 of the doctor blade 2, a mechanism using air springs, 24, 25, 44, and 45 is employed. |
