PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter body allowing filtration and backwashing to be uniformly performed on the whole surface of a filter medium, and to provide a filtering apparatus having the filter body, and a seawater treating apparatus for treating seawater by the filtering apparatus.SOLUTION: A filter body 5 includes a filter medium 19 formed in cylindrical shape with one end in a center axis direction as an opening part and with the other end as a blocked part. When filtering, raw water is received from the opening part, infiltrated from the inner surface of the filter medium 19 and discharged as filtered water to the outside of the filter body 5. When backwashing, filtered water is allowed to flow in as backwashing water from the outside of the filter body to strip a filtration residue attachment on the inner surface of the filter medium and to discharge it from the opening part. A rotation body 21 provided with a spiral blade 23 around a shaft body 22 with a center axis as a rotational center is provided inside the filter body 5, and a mechanism 24 is provided for switching the rotation body 21 into a stop state when filtering and into a rotatable state when backwashing. During rotation, the peripheral edge of the spiral blade comes in sliding contact with the inner surface of the filter medium. |
