<p>In order to generate a stable sustain pulse while shortening the sustain-pulse cycle in a plasma display device, a plasma display device is provided with a sustain-pulse generation unit (50) which is equipped with: a clamp section (56) having a switching element (Q56); and a power recovery section (51) having a capacitor (C51) and an inductor (L51). A resistor (R54) and a diode (Di54) are provided electrically in series between one terminal of the inductor (L51), and a power source. In a sustain period, a current closed loop, which includes the switching element (Q56), the inductor (L51), the resistor (R54), and the diode (Di54), is formed.</p> |
