<p>A tape measure 1a for use by pest controllers for the installation of holes in a building structure (eg. a concrete slab or tiled area). The tape measure 1a comprises an adhesive flexible strip 2a and markings 3a at regular intervals along a length of the strip 2a to indicate at what locations holes are to be installed/drilled in the building structure. In use, a pest controller unwinds the flexible strip 2a from a dispenser, adheres the flexible strip 2a to the building structure and then cuts the flexible strip 2a to length. Once in place, the pest controller installs a hole at each marking 3a, whether it be at 200 mm or 300 mm intervals. After installing the holes, the controller then peels off the flexible strip 2a and injects the appropriate chemical termiticide into the holes.</p> |
