PURPOSE: A fine pattern forming method on the surface of a metal plate and a metal plate with fine patterns thereof are provided to use a rolling mold to perform a rolling process for a metal plate with a fixed gap of rolling rolls, thereby implementing complex and various fine patterns and three dimensional designs on the surface of the metal plate. CONSTITUTION: A fine pattern forming method on the surface of a metal plate comprises the following steps. A rolling mold carved is made wherein a fine pattern is from 10-120 cm in width and from 10-240 cm or less in circumferential length(S100). The rolling mold is mounted on a rolling roll, wherein the thickness of a metal plate is measured to set up the gap of the rolling roll for the fine pattern to be formed with 5-200μm in pitch and with 1-330μm in depth on the surface of the metal plate(S200). The rolling of the metal plate is performed under the rolling mold under the condition of the rolling roll gap(S300).
