PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for preparing a dialysis fluid, where the concentration of electrolytes such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, etc. is maintained constant according to the patient conditions while freely changing the bicarbonate ion concentration even during dialysis operation.SOLUTION: In a three-component dialysate including an agent S containing sodium chloride, an agent B containing sodium bicarbonate and an agent A containing an electrolyte other than sodium chloride or sodium bicarbonate, it is possible to freely change the bicarbonate ion concentration while maintaining constant the ion concentration of such trace metals as potassium, calcium, magnesium, etc. by adjusting the quantity of agent B added during the preparation of the dialysis fluid. Moreover, in this three-component dialysate, it is also possible to keep the sodium ion concentration at a fixed value or freely change it by adjusting the ratio of the amounts of addition of the agent S and the agent B in use. |
