PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizer protective film that has excellent moisture resistance and high transparency of a polypropylene resin film while having high adhesiveness with respect to hydrophilic adhesives such as polyvinyl alcohol adhesives.SOLUTION: The polarizer protective film is a laminated film laminated on at least one surface of a polypropylene resin substrate film so that an outermost surface is an adhesion-improving layer formed from an acid-modified resin composition that contains a polyolefin resin as a primary component and that comprises polar groups. The polarizer protective film is characterized in that the retardation thereof as measured at 550 nm is 100 nm or less.
