<p>Provided is a lens barrel that can be made compact. A lens barrel (20) has a second rotational frame (220) and a third straight moving frame (130). The second rotational frame (220) has first and second bayonet grooves (e31, e32) and a cam groove (b4) intersecting with the first and second bayonet grooves (e31, e32). The third straight moving frame (130) has first and second bayonet projections (E31, E32) engaging with the first and second bayonet grooves (e31, e32). When the first bayonet projection (E31) is located near the cam groove (b4), the second bayonet projection (E32) engages with the second bayonet groove (e32).
