PURPOSE: A display apparatus and a voice recognition method thereof are provided to perform a control operation corresponding to the selected voice information, by acquiring first and second voice information corresponding to a first and a second voice signal respectively, and adding a fixed weighted value to a voice signal with larger measured sound pressure, and then selecting one appropriate for the utterance intend of the user of the first and the second voice information.
