PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in detection accuracy and detect a traveling direction.SOLUTION: A gyro sensor 11 periodically detects an angular speed of a moving body. A calculation unit 31 calculates an integral value obtained by integrating the detected angular speed for each predetermined period required for a change in a traveling direction of the moving body. A determination unit 33 determines whether the calculated integral value is larger than a threshold value corresponding to an integral value of an off-set error of the angular speed in the predetermined period. An update unit 34 updates a traveling direction of the moving body on the basis of the integral value when the integral value is determined to be larger than the threshold value.
