PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell that has increased strength and prevents thermal damage.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell 1 is supplied with fuel gas and oxidant gas. The solid oxide fuel cell 1 comprises: a self-supported film type single cell 4 where a fuel electrode 43, an electrolyte 41, and an air electrode 42 are laminated in that order; a support substrate 2 that supports the single cell 4 and has at least one through-hole 21; a conductive porous collector 5 with which the through-hole 21 in the support substrate 2 is filled and which has a thickness equal to or larger than that of the support substrate 2; and a conductive weld layer 3 that is interposed between the single cell 4 and the support substrate 2 and welded to the single cell 4 and the support substrate 2 and that is formed so as to be gas-permeable. |
