摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a PAPR and to further control the degree of PAPR reduction in OFDM based communication.SOLUTION: A modulation unit 11 generates a modulation signal from an input signal, and a serial-parallel conversion unit 12 generates a sub-carrier modulation signal from the modulation signal. An insertion unit 13 generates first data by inserting a transmission side data sequence into a signal for composition such that each element of the signal for composition generated by multiplying the sub-carrier modulation signal by a signal amplitude coefficient and each element of a transmission side data sequence generated by multiplying any data sequence having an auto-correlation characteristic by a prescribed sequence amplitude coefficient will be alternately placed. An IFFT unit 14 performs inverse fast Fourier transformation of the first data. A division unit 15 generates a baseband signal on the basis of upper-half data of an operation result by the IFFT unit 14. A transmission unit 16 generates a transmission signal from the baseband signal and transmits it to another device via an antenna 10.
