PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which prevents excessive temperature rise and which reduces a time of cleaning of a pressure roller while improving first print out time(FPOT).SOLUTION: A fixing device includes: a heating roller having a pressure roller 109a and a ceramic heater 202; a thermistor 203 detecting a temperature of the ceramic heater 202; a rotation detecting circuit 215 detecting a rotational state of a fixing motor 214 which drives the pressure roller 109a; and a comparator 216 determining whether or not the temperature detected by the thermistor 203 is equal to or higher than a predetermined reference temperature. The electric power supplied to the ceramic heater 202 is controlled on the basis of the detection result of the rotation detecting circuit 215 and the determination result of the comparator 216. |
