PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement measuring apparatus which accurately measures the movement of an object to be measured in a predetermined movement direction.SOLUTION: A sensor 10 specifies a portion having more distinctive features in shade, color, and the like than the peripheries thereof in the arm surface 101a of a stretchable arm 100; obtains the surface conditions (e.g. shading, color, and the like) of the portion having distinctive features; detects the displacement magnitude of the specified portion having distinctive features in the Y-axis direction in connection with the movement of the arm body 101 of the stretchable arm 100 in the movement direction; and multiplying the displacement magnitude by a correction factor for correction. The correction factor is stored in a storage part 30 in advance, through calculation using a learning function of the sensor 10. The correction factor is read out from the storage part 30 for use. |
