PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing battery overcharge is provided to prevent explosion and fire of a battery due to overcharge of a battery by bending of an electrode terminal due to difference of a thermal expansion coefficient, thereby improving the safety of the battery. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing battery overcharge comprises a cell module consisting of laminated cells(11); an electrode terminal(20) which is located at an end part of the cell and is attached to a metal plate which has a different thermal expansion coefficient; busbars(30) which can be cut when the electrode terminal is bent; and a support plate which covers parts of the cells and electrode terminals and supports the bent part of the electrode terminal. |
