PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder for a printing ink containing no chlorine, having an adhesiveness equal to or higher than that of conventional binders for inks to various plastic films such as polyester, nylon and polyolefin, and usable versatilely for various plastic films.SOLUTION: A binder for a printing ink is made from a polyurethane resin (U) obtained by reacting an active hydrogen component (A) and an organic polyisocyanate component (B), wherein the active hydrogen component (A) contains at least 1 wt% of a polydiene polyol (a1) and/or a hydrogenated polydiene polyol (a2) based on the total weight of the active hydrogen component (A) and the organic polyisocyanate component (B). |
