SPIRAL MEMBRANE MODULE AND MEMBRANE MODULE UNIT FOR WATER TREATMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral membrane module capable of achieving a simple and light-weight structure without use of an armored container and to provide a module unit for water treatment capable of simplifying control of dimensional accuracy of a plurality of spiral membrane modules used and stably maintaining a connection state to a manifold for a long period without causing deformation to the whole unit.SOLUTION: In a spiral membrane module 2, the outer periphery of an envelope-like membrane 22 in a wound manner of a spiral membrane 20 having a water collection tube 21 and a plurality of envelope-like membranes 22 wound around the outer periphery thereof is integrally covered with synthetic resin coating 26 made by impregnating reinforcing fiber with synthetic resin. The membrane module unit for water treatment includes manifolds with openings at both ends of the membrane module 2. On both the ends thereof, there is formed a tubular body for connection whose one end is connected with the synthetic resin coating 26 and whose other end is connected with the manifold. By fitting the other end side of the tubular body for connection onto the opening of the manifold, the membrane module 2 and the manifold are connected with each other.
