PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode holding device that facilitates clamping and fixation of an electrode mounted on a main spindle of an electric discharge machine, and has high versatility.SOLUTION: An electrode holding device includes a pedestal portion, a movable portion, and an electrode fixation portion. The pedestal portion includes a fitting mechanism and a positioning mechanism, journals the movable portion in the center of the pedestal portion, and is provided with a fixation portion capable of fixing the movable portion at an arbitrary angle. The movable portion comprises a pair of combination movable rods, which have a bearing portion and two arm portions provided with slide grooves. The electrode fixation portion includes a step portion, a female screw portion for arm portion fixation, a male screw portion for electrode fixation, and a spacer support, and is configured to hold an electrode corresponding to a position of the female screw portion for electrode fixation within a movable region of the electrode fixation portion obtained through rotation of the movable portion and sliding of the electrode fixation portion. |
