PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital content browsing management system capable of grasping a browsing state at a time when a browser of book-type digital content browses a character string hit by a string search, and a digital content browsing device that facilitates the grasp of the browsing state.SOLUTION: With a digital content browsing management system 1, when the string search is performed with respect to character information in the book-type digital content displayed on a terminal device 4, a highlighted display (marking image display) with respect to the searched character string is performed such that whether or not a region in the digital content with the searched character string displayed has been browsed by a user can be obtained as more reliable information. When a predetermined content browsing operation has been performed under an influence of the highlighted display, it is determined that a search result has been browsed, and a result of the search result browsing is recorded in a server 2, and in the server 2, the result thereof is made outputable. |
