The present invention provides a method for correcting a detection signal steadily in an isothermal nucleic acid amplification reaction, particularly an isothermal nucleic acid amplification reaction that is carried out at a low temperature. Specifically, the present invention provides a method for detecting a target nucleic acid in an isothermal nucleic acid amplification reaction, comprising the following steps (1) and (2): (1) subjecting a nucleic acid sample to a target nucleic acid amplification reaction under isothermal conditions in the presence of a nucleic acid probe for correction purposes and a nucleic acid probe for target nucleic acid detection purposes; and (2) correcting a detection signal derived from the nucleic acid probe for detection purposes using a detection signal derived from the nucleic acid probe for correction purposes in the amplification reaction. |
