摘要 <p>[Problem] To determine an operating state of a current blocking device included in each power storage component of a power storage block in which multiple power storage components are connected in parallel. [Solution] This power storage system has: a power storage block comprising parallelly connected multiple power storage components; a voltage sensor for detecting a voltage of the power storage block; and a controller for determining a state of the power storage block. Each power storage component has a current blocking device for interrupting a current path inside the power storage component. The controller computes an estimated value of a current that flows in the power storage block by using the voltage detected by the voltage sensor. Additionally, the controller determines whether or not the current blocking devices are in an open state by using the correspondence between a first ratio and a second ratio. The first ratio refers to a ratio between the estimated current value and the value of a reference current that flows in the power storage block. The second ratio refers to a ratio between the total number of power storage components that constitute the power storage block and the total number of current blocking devices that are not in the open state.</p>
