PURPOSE: A wind power generation system and a control method thereof are provided to maximize generating efficiency by tracking the maximum power point of an aerogenerator based on a modified lookup table. CONSTITUTION: A wind power generation system includes blades(110), a generator(120), a rectifier(130), a DC-DC converter(140), and an MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) control module(200). The generator is positioned on the rear end of the blades, and converts wind energy into electric energy. The rectifier is connected to an output terminal of the generator to generate DC voltage. The DC-DC converter steps down or boosts the rectified voltage according to the used amount of the rectified voltage. The MPPT control module controls MPPT. |
