PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation inspection device which performs insulation inspection between a plurality of wirings formed on the surface of an inspection object such as a touch panel, and an insulation inspection method using the same.SOLUTION: A non-contact type insulation inspection device performs insulation inspection between plurality of wirings formed on an inspection object. In order to perform insulation inspection between wirings to be inspected having poor insulation with a high resistance value (e.g. a resistance value of several M&OHgr;), electric power having two or more different frequencies is applied between wirings TA and TB from power supply means 2 through a first power supply part 3 and a second power supply part 4 which are of non-contact type. The impedance between the wirings is calculated at each of the frequencies with calculation means 6 on the basis of an electric signal from a measurement electrode 5. The insulation state between the wirings is determined with determination means 8 on the basis of these impedances. |
