PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and improved method of measuring a magnetic component, capable of continuously obtaining a measurement value of high reliability with respect to an amount of a magnetic component contained in a sintered ore product.SOLUTION: A method of measuring a magnetic component includes: a step of obtaining a sintered ore specimen, of obtaining a portion of a sintered ore product as a sintered ore specimen from a sintered ore product transfer line that transfers a sintered ore product produced by a sintering device to a blast furnace, a step of obtaining a specimen to be measured, of obtaining a specimen included in a specified particle size range narrower than the whole particle size range of the sintered ore specimen from the sintered ore specimen as a specimen to be measured, and a magnetic measurement step of carrying out magnetic measurement of measuring an amount of a magnetic component contained in the specimen to be measured according to the magnetism of the specimen to be measured. |
