A method for recirculation of exhaust gas is provided to lower the temperature at the back end of a compressor of a turbocharger and thereby prevent corrosion of an intercooler. A method for recirculation of exhaust gas comprises the steps of: reproducing the deposits collected at the backend of a smoke filter device when deposits more than the optimum level are collected and at the same time estimating the temperature at the backend of a compressor of a turbocharger(S14,S16); and reducing the exhaust gas flowing in from the exhaust gas recirculation device into the compressor of the turbocharger when the compressor backend temperature exceeds the minimum temperature(S18,S20). |
