PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog electronic timepiece in which moving speeds of a plurality of hands can be increased by simple processing when the plurality of hands are caused to interlock with one another and are moved in a fast forward manner.SOLUTION: An analog electronic timepiece comprises three hands or more, stepping motors, and drive control means for outputting driving pulses without overlapping with one another. The drive control means includes: time display control means that causes the respective stepping motors to output the driving pulses at every predetermined unit time different from one another and causes the respective hands to display time-of-day; display fast-forward setting means for setting a fast-forward multiplication factor by which a driving cycle obtained by dividing the shortest unit time by the fast-forward multiplication factor has a length equal to or more than a length thereof capable of outputting the driving pulse having a setting value equal to or more than 2 and less than a predetermined number and less than a length thereof capable of outputting the driving pulse of the setting value+1 at the time of fast-forward movement of display time; and display fast-forward control means for moving drive timing exceeding a setting number into other driving cycles subsequent to a second driving cycle when the drive timing of the stepping motors in which the number of pieces is greater than the setting number overlaps in a first driving cycle out of the driving cycles. |
