PURPOSE: A power generation system control method and a device thereof are provided to improve power quality by compensating for a part of harmonic wave elements generated from a non-linear load. CONSTITUTION: A power generation unit (100) generates electric energy by using wind power. A load (200) receives the generated electric energy. A compensation unit (300) compensates for the distortion of the electric energy. The distortion is generated by using a non-linear load.
