The invention relates to an adapter (1) for reducing or eliminating possible bacterial contamination from a process involving the extraction or transfer of blood components from at least one container (3) to a suitable receiver or destination, while improving user safety. The adapter comprises: a body (2) provided with at least one first zone (2a) intended to be positioned near, or coupled to, at least one container (3) and at least one second zone (2b) intended to remain accessible from the exterior, and at least one needle (7) which extends from each first zone (2a) and which is intended to perforate a perforatable zone (3a) of a container (3). The needle (7) includes an inner channel (8) connected to an inner channel (9) of the body (2) which in turn opens at an opening (4) onto a second zone (2b), and at least one flexible part (10) disposed such as to close each inner channel (9) of the body (2).
