PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game control device, a method of controlling a game, a program, and a game control system that allow a plurality of users to compete jointly.SOLUTION: Based on operation of a user, the user is associated with any one of a plurality of groups. A plurality of sets including a plurality of competitions among groups, namely competitions among different groups, are provided, and a user associated with a group is allocated to any one of the plurality of the sets. Information relating to a plurality of competitions among groups in a set to which the user has been allocated is displayed on the user's communication terminal. User's participation in at least one of the competitions among groups from among the plurality of the competitions among groups that have been displayed is accepted according to the user's operation. In the competitions among groups that have accepted user's participation, user's operation for executing the competitions among users, namely the game competitions between the user, and another user associated with a group different from that of the user is accepted, and winning or losing in the competitions among groups is decided based on results of the competitions among users. |
