PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an inkjet recording body that can manufacture an inkjet recording body with high productivity wherein the inkjet body includes an ink receiving layer having excellent recording density, ink absorption, and coating strength owing to coating liquid for the ink receiving layer with good coating qualification even when solid content density is increased.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an inkjet recording body coats and dries coating liquid for an ink receiving layer on a support body to form the ink receiving layer. The coating liquid for the ink receiving layer includes: water; pigments; a binder; 0.1-1 pst.mass of organic acid with respect to 100 pst.mass of the pigments; and ink fixer. The coating liquid is prepared by adding the organic acid and the ink fixer to water before the pigments.
