PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a mixture containing a polyglycerol alkyl ether at a high concentration.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a polyglycerol alkyl ether mixture comprising steps (1) to (3). Step (1): a step to add an alkyl glycidyl ether or an olefin to a polyglycerol to obtain a reaction product containing the polyglycerol and a polyglycerol alkyl ether. Step (2): a step to add a hydrophobic organic solvent to the reaction product obtained by the step (1) and separate and remove the polyglycerol. Step (3): a step to distill off the hydrophobic organic solvent from a mixture containing the polyglycerol alkyl ether and the hydrophobic organic solvent after the step (2). |
