PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker capable of completing preheating in a short time and of keeping a temperature after the preheating completion.SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker has: a heating coil 2 for induction-heating a cooking container; an inverter circuit 7 for supplying a high-frequency current to the heating coil; an operation part 4 including an operation mode setting part 4b for setting an operation mode of the inverter circuit; an infrared sensor 3 for detecting an infrared ray emitted from a bottom face of the cooking container; a controller 8 for controlling an output of the inverter circuit on the basis of the setting inputted to the operation part and an output of the infrared sensor; and a notification part 13. The controller, when a preheating and heating mode is selected as the operation mode, starts an operation in a preheating mode for heating the cooking container at a first heating output. When an increase amount of an output value of the infrared sensor from the start of heating at the first heating output becomes larger than a first predetermined increase amount, the controller makes the notification part issue a notification indicating that the preheating was completed, and makes the transition to a standby mode of heating at a second heating output lower than the first heating output. |
