HEAT EXCHANGER USING THERMOSYPHON

PURPOSE: A thermo siphon heat exchanger is provided to lower the temperature of a hot fluid, such as a lubricating oil, which has to be cooled, without using separate power. CONSTITUTION: A thermo siphon heat exchanger comprises a heat source medium gathering unit, an evaporator (100), a first transfer pipe (200), a condenser (300) and a second transfer pipe (400). A hot fluid circulates in the heat source medium gathering unit. The evaporator is installed within the heat source medium gathering unit and vaporizes a thermal medium by using the heat of the heat source medium gathering unit. The first transfer pipe is connected to an upper part of the evaporator and transfers the vaporized thermal medium. The condenser is connected to the other end of the first transfer pipe and liquefies the vaporized thermal medium. The second transfer pipe transfers the thermal medium liquefied in the condenser to a lower part of the evaporator.
