PURPOSE: A hood opening device is provided to reduce the length of a wire for connecting a hood opening sensor and a dashboard by installing the hood opening sensor at a handle unit. CONSTITUTION: A hood opening device comprises a handle unit(10), a locking unit, an operation cable, and a hood opening sensor(40). The handle unit is installed inside a vehicle and allows an operator to control the handle unit. The locking unit is installed at a vehicle frame to be adjacent to a hood and fixes a striker of the hood. The operation cable connects the handle unit and the locking unit and transfers the operation force of the handle unit to the locking unit. The hood opening sensor is installed in the handle unit and senses the opening of the hood. |
