PURPOSE: A method for controlling a grinder for rolling equipment is provided to reduce left and right grinding deviations by correcting an air pressure force according to torque deviations between grinders. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a grinder for rolling equipment comprises following steps. When a grinding command is inputted, a grinding control unit pushes two grinders to a work roll by a set air pressure force. A torque deviation is confirmed when the two grinders are operated(S3). The air pressure force about the tow grinders are corrected according to the torque deviation(S5). The grinding is performed by the corrected air pressure force.
