<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new integumentary system tissue production-promoting technology, namely to provide a composition which has an integumentary system tissue production-promoting effect and is high in safety. <P>SOLUTION: This integumentary system tissue production-promoting composition is characterized by comprising an ingredient originated from a plant in Ericacees, Ericaceae. The integumentary system tissue production-promoting composition has a trichogenous action, a hair papilla cell proliferation-promoting action, a hair cycle growth period-inducing action, a vasodilator action, a melamine production-promoting action, a tyrosinase synthesis-promoting action, and the like. It is highly possible that the integumentary system tissue production-promoting composition can continuously safely be used for a long period, because of being originated from a natural material.
