<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp-lighting device capable of switching off both field effect transistors at the time of stopping of an inverter circuit while responding to downsizing. <P>SOLUTION: The load control device includes a control circuit 16 which can output an oscillation signal having at least three mutually different voltage state. A driver circuit 17, which can control to switch on and off alternately the field effect transistors and can control to switch off both of the field effect transistors together according to the different voltage state of the oscillation signal outputted from the control circuit 16, is connected to the control circuit 16 by one signal line 18. Accordingly, without installing separately a terminal or the like for stopping control to stop the field effect transistors on the driver circuit 17 side, both of the field effect transistors can be switched off at the time of stopping of the inverter circuit, while responding to downsizing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
