<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-definition, multi-gradation, and low-cost displaying device with small power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A driving circuit integrated type active matrix display device is equipped with a display panel, a controller IC 102 having a display memory 111, an output buffer 12 reading data out of the display memory and outputting them to a display panel part, and a controller 113 communicating with a host device and performing control. The display panel part is equipped with a DAC circuit 106 which constitutes a portion of a data line driving circuit and converts display data of a digital signal into an analog signal; and a bus for data transfer between the controller IC 102 and the data line driving circuit of the display panel part has a wider width than a bus between the controller and host device so that more bit data are transferred in parallel at each time, thereby lowering the operation frequency of the data line driving circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
