<p>The present invention relates to compositions and methods for wet-cleaning, in professional or household washing machine equipment, and subsequent drying in a tumbler dryer, of garments made of protein-fibers (animal based fibers) such as wool, cashmere, silk and other sensitive fibers. Using water and certain additives instead of organic solvents, these compositions enable the cleaning, including oil stains removal, and subsequent drying without incurring dimensional changes, shrinkage, surface damages, dye or color loss of dry clean only labeled garments or other delicate garments labeled for special care.</p> |
