<p>Producing a polyurethane composite material, comprises (a) providing a mixture comprising 10-90 wt.% polyester diol and 10-90 wt.% natural oil, (b) reacting the mixture with polyisocyanate at 10-150[deg] C, and (c) processing the reacted products with respect to the total weight of the mixture of step (b), using 5-75 wt.% cellulose-based reinforcing material and optionally by adding further additives to obtain polyurethane composite material, where a cumulative content of natural oil and cellulose-based reinforcing material is at least 40 wt.% of the polyurethane composite material. Producing a polyurethane composite material, comprises (a) providing a mixture comprising 10-90 wt.% polyester diol and 10-90 wt.% natural oil, (b) reacting the mixture with polyisocyanate having an isocyanate functionality of >= 2.1 at an isocyanate index of 75-150, and at a temperature of 10-150[deg] C, and (c) processing the reacted products with respect to the total weight of the mixture of step (b), using 5-75 wt.% cellulose-based reinforcing material and optionally by adding further additives to obtain polyurethane composite material, where a cumulative content of natural oil and cellulose-based reinforcing material is at least 40 wt.% of the polyurethane composite material. An independent claim is also included for polyurethane composite material produced by the above method.</p> |
