摘要 A constant velocity joint having a first shaft rotating about axis X1, and a second shaft rotating about axis X2, shafts X1 & X2 intersecting at the centre of the joint. A first triad control yoke, a first triad first shaft yoke and a first triad second shaft yoke, wherein the first and second shaft yokes are pivotally mounted on the respective first and second shafts about respective pivot axes A1 & A2, which both pass through the centre of the joint. The first and second shaft pivot axis A1 & A2 being substantially oblique to the first and second rotation axes X1 & X2. The CV joint having additional yokes to maintain the control yoke in the correct orientation, the pivot axis of the additional yokes also passing through the centre of the joint. This CV joint reduces the inertia torque loads on the shafts. The maximum efficiency and the least wear, is with the shafts in a straight line. Its maximum angle is approximately 50 degrees.
