<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of maintaining normal traveling performance and efficiently reducing the temperature of the tire. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 1 is provided with turbulence generation projections 17 for generating turbulence on the tire surface 15. The turbulence generation projection 17 is at least provided with a front portion (front face 17C) positioned in the front side with respect to the tire rotating direction from a projection centerline and with a rear portion (rear face 17D) positioned in the rear side with respect to the tire rotating direction from the projection centerline.
