PURPOSE: A lighting control system using multilayer synthesis and a method thereof are provided to implement optimal rear light by synthesizing sensor information with position information. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of sensors (100,110,120) are installed in a building. The sensors detect environmental information and existence information. A plurality of lamps emit light. A data communication unit (200) transmits the environmental information and the existence information to a lighting control unit (300) through a network. The lighting control unit is connected with the sensors and the lamps through the network.
