The capacitor device comprises a housing (20), a capacitor unit (30) that is arranged in the housing for compensating an inductive voltage drop along a conductor loop, and two connection interfaces (32a, 32b), where each of the connection interfaces is designed for mechanical and electrically conductive connection between the capacitor unit and a conductor element of the conductor loop. The capacitor unit comprises two capacitor plates having a dielectric layer (36), and two plate carriers (38), at which one of the capacitor plates is electrically conductively arranged. The capacitor plates: stand with the connection interfaces in an electrical conductive contact; and comprise a coating as dielectric layer that is partially formed as a fluid. The dielectric layer is arranged between the capacitor plates. The plate carrier is partially formed in a half shell-shaped manner. The capacitor unit and/or the housing is filled with a flowable curable material. The connection interfaces are formed by screw connection, welding, riveting, and press fit.
