<p>The invention relates to a gritter for using in the winter, said gritter comprising a carrier vehicle and a gritter installation (1) which is mounted thereon. The gritter installation comprises a frame (7), a grit storage container (2) which is supported on the frame, a discharging device (3), a motor-driven transport device which removes the grit from the container, and a dosing device for loading the discharge device with grit. A control system is used to control the dosing device according to a pre-defined gritting width, a pre-defined gritting density, and the driving speed of the gritting vehicle. The inventive gritter comprises a weighing device for weighing the grit container, said weighing device comprising a plurality of measuring points provided with measuring elements supporting the grit container (2) on the gritter installation frame (7). The control system comprises a correction unit that corrects, in pre-determined intervals, the raw nominal value of the dosing device according to the pre-defined gritting width, the pre-defined gritting density, and the driving speed of the gritter, taking into account the measuring value difference determined from two measurements of the weighing device.</p> |
