<p>PURPOSE: A tidal power generation apparatus is provided to be simply built by making a damp and a beam unnecessary to improve generating efficiency and to minimize ecosystem changes by satisfying environmental regulations. CONSTITUTION: A tidal power generation apparatus comprises a tidal inflow frame (10), a water turbine (20), and a power generation module (30). The tidal inflow frame forms a water way (11) in the tidal inflow direction. The water way is formed to have tide guide sides which are diagonally symmetrical across the center part on the front and the rear side. The water turbine includes a rotary shaft (14) which is built in the central part of the tidal inflow frame. A rotator (24) is fixed on the rotatory shaft. The rotator is formed to have multiple protrusions (21) on the outside, and equipped with an upper plate and a lower plate on the upper part and the lower part respectively. Multiple first rounded opening and closing gates (25) which are rotated under a control of the protrusions are installed in between the borders of the upper plate and the lower plate. The power generation module is connected to the rotary shaft, which is extracted upwardly from the center of the upper plate, for power transmission.
