摘要 PURPOSE: A horizontal boring device for predicting geological features at the front mounted on a tunnel boring machine (TBM) is provided to allow a user to predict the geological features at the front with a boring investigation and to predict the geological features at the front at real time by showing the inside of a boring hole with images. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal boring device (20) for predicting geological features at the front mounted on a TBM comprises a main frame (21), a boring unit (22), a first guide (23), a second guide (24), a chain belt (25), a mounting unit (26), a driving motor, and a control unit. The main frame forms a main body of the horizontal boring device. The boring unit is installed on the main frame in order to be moved forward and backward, and a rod is mounted on the boring unit in order to excavate a boring hole. The first guide is installed at the front of the main frame in order to guide the rod. The second guide is installed at the front of the first guide in order to support the rod. The chain belt moves the boring unit forward and backward in the main frame. The mounting unit supports the horizontal boring device, and the horizontal boring device is simultaneously mounted on a tunnel construction device such as a TBM. The chain belt supplies power to drive the chain belt. The control unit generally controls movements of the horizontal boring device and a water pump to supply water pressure in boring.
