PURPOSE: A milling tool and a milling insert are provided to control a flow of chips to protect one or more reserved bearing surfaces included to an overturned operational inclined surface of the milling insert and a reserved segment chip of a cutting edge according to an identical inclined surface from a harmful influence of the flow of the chip. CONSTITUTION: A milling tool comprises a main body and a double indexible milling insert (2). A bearing surface (43) included to a discrete inclined surface (31) of the milling insert is positioned between a pair of adjacent inclined surfaces (36) and a level which is different from the adjacent inclined surface. Each angle of lugs includes a stop surface and a corrugated surface is extended between the lugs. A level difference of a crest (38) of the discrete inclined surface and a discrete bearing surface of the milling insert is formed to be smaller than a level difference of a support surface of the lug and the adjacent corrugated surface to maintain the inclined surface of the milling insert to be separated from the corrugated surface of a connecting surface.
