The conveyor (1) has a support that is provided to define an axis of orientation. The support is mounted rotatably relative to a trolley around a principal axis between straight position and oblique position that are relative to deployed configuration and compact position of a chain (8) respectively. The axis of orientation is inclined relative to straight position. The support is provided with a nozzle for releasable attachment of article. An actuator is coupled to support for driving support in rotation from straight position to oblique position, and reciprocally.
